The 2005 era landcover change detection analysis produced for the State of Kentucky by the Kentucky Landscape Census Project are incorporated into the NLCD01 dataset. Both the LC2005 (KY's version) and the NLCD01 (KY's version) published in the Kentucky Geography Network are co-registered to the same geographic extent. The two datasets used in this update are the 2001-2005 Land Cover Change set and the Change/No-Change Binary Mask also published.The change detection analysis is based on Landsat Thematic Mapper scenes from 2001 and 2005. An accuracy report is also published concomitantly.
